Partially “under the influence”
and in honour of Stan Bean,
Junior Green heads up the club’s first quiz night. On this night only,
entry is free; and teams of up to four members and guests are
encouraged to come together and make an evening of it (begins at 5pm).
Questions to be set by Basil and Tony Martin,
will include general knowledge of Birmingham
as well as specialist knowledge of Caribbean food, black heroes and
sheroes, West Indies cricket, and sayings of Jamaica. Don’t blame Junior
if you are late, have no partner, or can’t find a table! Junior loves
when his plan comes together!
