Well done to
Handsworth Cricket Club for a fantastic year. It just shows that if we
all sing from the same hymn sheet anything can be achieved. Looking
forward to working with everyone next season. Can we all pray in
silence for one of our former senior committee member who is not very
well at the moment MR STAN BEAN? God bless.

to HCC on the well earned success of promotion to the Premier Division.
I am sure the team will do well in 2008. Once again the diary is

Just
wanted to comment on how friendly and welcoming Handsworth were on
Saturday, they invited us to stay and enjoy their league success and provided
us with food and drink at their expense. It was quite clear that
although winning was important the main objective was to play and enjoy
their cricket whatever the outcome and I think at times this is an
attitude we all lose sight of should all try to upkeep. The game was
played in a very sporting manner and although they sent us down it was
an extremely enjoyable day and everyone at Streetly CC would like to
congratulate them and offers them the greatest success in the division
above.
